If you would like to help us make our town beautiful at Christmas, please click here to donate, or go by the town office for all the info. Washburn is the best place to live, and we should have the best lights at Christmas. Washburn Rotary Club thanks you for supporting our light project.

Please help us honor the military dogs of Loring AFB. Washburn Rotary Club is working on a project to purchase and install a life-size German Shepard like the one above, an information board about the important work done by these veterans of the U. S. Air Force, and a brick to honor each dog and its handler. Total cost will be around $9,700.
If you would like to help make this honor happen for the dogs, please click here to donate.  You can read our interesting interview with thecounty.me by clicking here. If you have questions, please contact Larry Harrison, USAF (retired) at 207-455-4074 or 207-316-4165.
Thank you for helping us to provide new playground equipment for our smallest citizens. Please click here to make a donation.

           August 15, 16 & 17
Make your plans now to attend the 44th Washburn August Festival.
This will be the best one ever with new games, crafts, music, & fireworks. We have exciting news coming up about Friday night bands, hotdogs, and new games at Mill Pond Park.

For August Festival 2025, we are planning the best festival ever. Star City Syndicate will be back on Saturday night before the fireworks. The tractor train will be here for the little kids, and our fire dept. auxiliary, once again, will present bounce houses and games. The car show will be back, and we will have a new Pinewood Derby. A new and improved water slide will be on the hill below the baseball field. Make your plans to attend now!

New rules for this year!!!
Because of several small accidents and other near accidents last year, NO ATV's, electric bikes, bicycles, scooters, golf carts or vehicles of any kind will be allowed inside the festival area. Law enforcement will be on site to strictly enforce the "no vehicle" rule.
